Ferro Manganese is an alloy with a high percentage of manganese, which is made by heating a mixture of oxides, MnO2, and Fe2O3 with high carbon content in a blast furnace or an electric arc furnace-type system. The oxides go through a carbothermal reduction in the furnaces that result in producing Ferro Manganese. Ferro Manganese is used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer for the production of steel.
High Carbon Ferro Manganese Powder is usually used in the steelmaking process as an active deoxidizer and alloying additive. The word "high carbon" means quite a high carbon content, usually from 6 to 8%, which improves the hardness and strength of steels. Normally, it is produced by reducing manganese ore with carbon in a blast furnace or electric arc furnace.

High Carbon Ferro Manganese Powder is widely used in steelmaking, mechanical engineering, and other industries requiring high-strength and wear-resistant materials.
Deoxidizer: It removes oxygen from molten steel, improving the quality and performance of the steel.
Alloying agent: Adding ferro manganese enhances the strength, wear resistance, and hardness of the steel.
Hardness enhancement: The high carbon content aids in increasing the material’s hardness during steel production, making it suitable for high-strength applications.
