Haynes 188 Powder is a cobalt-based superalloy powder known for its exceptional high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. It maintains adequate ductility even after prolonged exposure to temperatures ranging from 1400-1600℉. Compared to nickel-based alloys, cobalt alloys like Haynes 188 offer superior high-temperature creep resistance. The alloy is solid solution strengthened with a 14% tungsten addition and further reinforced by M6C and M23C6 carbides, enhancing its overall performance in demanding environments.
