Ferro Titanium Powder (FeTi30-A) Description
Ferro Titanium Powder (FeTi30-A) is made up of 25~75% Ti, and 25~75% Fe. It is mainly used as a deoxidizer and degassing agent in the making of steel. With the capability of deoxidation by titanium, FeTi30-A can be used to decrease the segregation of steel ingots or improve ingot quality. In the torch steel, ferrosilicon conducts precipitation deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. Adding a quantity of silicon to steel will improve the strength, hardness, elasticity, and permeability of the steel and reduce hysteresis loss in transformer steel.
