Calcium Copper Titanate (CCTO) is an inorganic compound with the formula CaCu3Ti4O12. CCTO is a kind of ceramic dielectric material with a giant dielectric constant and low dielectric loss. It has a structure derived from the cubic perovskite structure by an octahedral tilting distortion as is GdFeO3.
CaCu₃Ti₄O₁₂ exhibits an anomalously high dielectric constant (ε≈10⁴-10⁵) and extremely low loss (tgδ≈0.03). Notably, the dielectric constant remains nearly unchanged over a wide temperature range (100-400K), reflecting high thermal stability in its dielectric response.
