Iron aluminide powder is a metallic compound primarily comprising iron, Fe, with aluminum, Al,—very frequently having the composition FeAl or Fe₃Al. It has excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance up to high temperatures, with a relatively low density that enables its use in many high-temperature applications.
